While both stores have great 50% off deals and special gift packages and beauty sets, it appears that Ulta Beauty has a wider variety of overall sales. Both Sephora and Ulta have the same Urban Decay palette on sale for equal the price, but other than that, it seems that both stores have different sales. Ultimately, it depends on what you’re looking for. Sephora has more luxury brands, so less of their items will be on sale. Ulta Beauty, however, has more drug store brands with a few high-end names. If you are looking for mascaras, Clinique, or Tarte items, Ulta Beauty is the way to go. Both stores will have gift sets in store, which are great value deals. If you are on a budget, Ulta will most likely have the more affordable options.
