Our favorite time of year is right around the corner, Spring Cleaning!

It is a great opportunity to reorganize and start the new season fresh and clean. However, we know it may be costly to purchase cleaning supplies. So we went ahead and compared the name brand’s cleaning supplies with Target’s brand, Up & Up.

Spring cleaning is a great time to organize, clean, and freshen up your home. A super simple way to save a few extra dollars is to use the store/generic cleaners rather than the brand names.

Up & Up Cleaning Supplies VS Popular Brands
Up & Up Disinfecting Wipes vs. Clorox Disinfecting Wipes

For your daily use of disinfecting surfaces and cleaning we are comparing the up & up brand and Clorox. These disinfecting wipes are for multi surfaces and are bleach-free while still killing 99.9% of germs. These are great for cleaning bathtubs, stovetops, sinks, and more. The up & up brand is only $3.19 while the Clorox brand is $4.49. Go get this better deal that is better for the environment and has a Target clean rating.

Up & Up Make-A-Size Paper Towels vs. Bounty Select-A-Size Paper Towels

Paper towels are a must when cleaning whether it’s your bathroom or your living room. We are comparing the up & up Target brand and the Bounty brand. These paper towels are an essential staple for stain cleanups. While being very sturdy and absorbent these towels are great for any cleaning task. A pack of 8 rolls in the up & up brand is $14.99 while name brand Bounty is $20.99.

Up & Up Household Cleaner & Disinfectant vs. Clorox Clean-Up All Purpose Cleaner with Bleach Spray Bottle

All purpose cleaner is a product that the majority of people use when cleaning their homes. Both of these household cleaners can be used on multiple surfaces and the two we compared were both 32 ounces. The up & up Household Cleaner and Disinfectant spray is lemon scented and can be used on many surfaces in kitchens, bathrooms, and more. This product is $1.99. The Clorox Clean-Up All Purpose Cleaner is known for killing the Covid-19 virus, which may be appealing to some consumers. However, this product is $3.29, nearly double the price of the Target brand.

Up & Up Bleach with Fabric Protection vs. Clorox Disinfecting Bleach

Bleach is a must have when cleaning around the house. Great for cleaning up stains and disinfecting. Both of these products are 81 oz with the up & up brand being the cheaper of the two at $3.59 and the Clorox brand at $4.99. The target brand comes with an easy grip handle and comes with added fabric protection for extra care for your white
clothes.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year: time for spring cleaning. Spring cleaning is the perfect time to get ready for the new season and wash away those winter blues. With many lower cost options for cleaning supplies, you will be able to save money and feel great about it.

Is there anything better than having a clean home and saving money? We don’t think so!
